Virtual Hawaii Teen Summit 2020
Your time will include some fun and exciting virtual programs designed to educate you about YOU! Answering some of those questions of adulting and building the skills to be an active participant in your community. You will have the chance learn, to talk story, interact with each other and just enjoy the fun activities planned, as well as build lifetime connections and friendships.
Program is designed for Teens 13-19yo w/bleeding disorders, carriers and/or immediate siblings in the same household.
Event hours: 11/8: 1pm-4pm, 11/9: 5pm-8pm, 11/10: 5pm-8pm, 11/11: 4pm-7pm
Statewide event designed to bring together the ohana as one group, and conduct a needs assessment. Provide a chance speak directly to the Hawaii chapter and our industry partners on how we can provide the desired programs and services to meet their needs.

4th Annual Hawaii Golf Tournament
Hawaii is charting new waters to stay on course with its commitment to raising funds for education programs, assistance programs and resources. With the current and likely continued restrictions into 2021, Hawaii has tee’ d off on a whole new direction with creating our own Golf Country Club within one of the premier virtual golf applications available, World Golf Tour/Top Golf. It is available and free on all devices in both Microsoft and iOS systems. Our event is a first of its kind, and continues the opportunity for virtual fundraising for families across the state of Hawaii to help support education, camp, programming and advocacy resources for the bleeding disorders community. This program will be a 7 day event event held December 1-7th on the Premier Golf App WGT by TOPGOLF, and we have an unlimited amount of spots to to provide: 1 Practice round, and 18 holes on 3 different course (all using the same courses), avg of those three will be tourney score. Completed with a Virtual Silent Auction and a Virtual(but Live) awards ceremony with entertainment.
The Hawaii Chapter of the National Hemophilia Foundation is excited to host an Annual Health Policy Summit/Stakeholder meeting Friday, October 23th, 2020. We are inviting other patient advocacy organizations, health care providers, and key bleeding disorder stakeholders/community members who can share their experience with healthcare policy issues in Hawaii. The purpose of the Summit is to identify, discuss, and prioritize public policy issues that impact access to healthcare in our state.
